Christmas in Weyburn!

We had a fantastic time with our families over Christmas! It seems to work best to all meet at mom and dad's (Graham and Wendy Bell) in Weyburn, as we have done for the past few years. Curtis's parents (Lorne and Elinor Tyndall) came from Nipawin, my sisters, Charlotte and Stacy came from Winnipeg, and Grandma Bell and aunt Rhonda also came over for most of the weekend.

Dress-up!

Today, Nora dressed herself up in her pyjamas, bloomers and underwear overtop of her clothes. Good thing I had already packed most of her stuff to leave for the weekend, or she would've had even more on! In total, she put on 5 pairs of bloomers, 4 pairs of underwear, 3 nightgowns, 2 socks and a pair of pajama pants. (I know, it sounds like a song, but it's true!!) It was quite amusing!

Christmas outfits

I've been busy sewing again, making matching Christmas outfits for the kidlets! Cute stuff!!!

First time "cruising on furniture". Levi pulled himself up on the ottoman first, then made his way to the couch. He had a mission...the coaster! He was quite proud of himself! His pants are a little long, I guess! :)

Well, everyone here, except me, is not feeling well. Curtis, Nora and Levi all have had colds, coughs and moderate fevers. Levi also has an ear infection and a belly button infection. But, that obviously doesn't stop the kids from having fun!

Nora covered Evrett (a friend's baby) with washcloths! You can only see the top of his forehead! He actually enjoyed Nora's idea!

Projects

Nora loves dresses, which is great because I like making them! Just thought I'd show a couple that I'd made recently. I've been thinking I might like to try making a go at selling some kids dresses that I make. Any feedback on what you think of these dresses would be helpful. Thanks!

Communication!

Levi signed his first word today!!! He signed "eat". Very cool! For those of you who don't know...sign language is an easy and fantastic way for a baby to communicate simple needs. We taught it to Nora, and now we're teaching Levi. (I had a funny feeling that "eat" would be the first one!! )

Hide and Seek

It wasn't hard to find her...since she hid in the same spot everytime, and when I would say "I wonder where Nora is..." she would call out, "In the closet!!!"
