More pictures!

A wedding.....

Work was very busy this last week, so Jessica came over to watch the kids a few days. She is so great and has so much fun with the kids! Nora and Levi love her so much...and Levi cries everytime she leaves!
Jessica planned a "wedding" that Nora and Levi were invited to attend as the wedding party! She brought dress-up clothes, made an invitation, set up a recption with decorations and had flowers for them! She took lots of great pictures! Thanks so much Jessica!

Weekend Fun!

It has taken me a while to get new pictures added because this week has been very busy at work with Graduations and 3 weddings!!

Last Sunday, Charlotte, Stacy and Grant came out to our place! We went swimming at the Steinbach pool, then came home for badminton, and other games, and finished up the evening with Guitar Hero! We all had so much fun!

Soccer Wind-up

Wednesday was Nora's soccer awards day, and each kid got a medal! She is very excited and proud of her medal!

I'm very impressed with the progress Nora has made during her time in soccer!
It's so fun to watch all these 3 and 4 year olds play a soccer game!

Annual Church Picnic!!

Yesterday was the annual church picnic, and we all had so much fun! The theme was African Safari, and everyone got t-shirts with an animal on it (for teams). There was tug-a-war, which my team won, and other games like ring toss, golf, bowling, horseshoes, volleyball, frisbee, that we did in teams of 2 adults and 2 kids (our team was easy to put together!) There was also a supper, candy scramble and fireworks! The kids had a fantastic time!
Levi did a face plant in the gravel, which resulted in a bit of a bump.
The weather was a bit cool and windy, and it started to spit rain at one point, so of course Nora needed her umbrella! But for the most part the sun was out, and the rain stayed away.

It was quite cold during the fireworks, so a few of us bundled up in blankets!

I wish I had gotten a picture...but Curtis won the Limbo contest!

It was a great day!

Beautiful Rainbows!!!

The kids and I got to see the most beautiful full double rainbow tonight!! I just love this amazing sight! The picture really doesn't do it justice at all! I couldn't get far enough from it to capture the entire rainbow, but there were 2 very clear and long double arcs!! I wish rainbows lasted longer...we got the picture only minutes before it was completely gone.

Beautiful 24 degree weather had the kids playing in the sprinkler for the first time this year! They had lots of fun!!

This is the drawing we had done when we were on holidays at West Edmonton Mall. It only took the artist about 15 minutes to draw us!! He didn't ask any questions about what theme we wanted the picture, but it turned out so perfect! We just got a temporary frame for now, but we'll probably get a nicer frame in the future. The photo is a little blurry, but it's the best we could get.
