Our Sea Lion picture

I'm finally getting around to posting the picture we had taken beside a sea lion at West Edmonton Mall on our vacation in April.

Garage Sale

Today we had beautiful weather and a very successful garage sale!

The kids and I baked 70 monster cookies, and they sold 66! (We each had a tasty snack with the other 4!) They also sold water and pop at their little picnic table.

Curtis also took the kids around town, since it was a community garage sale, to look for a new bike for Nora. And they found one! She was very excited!!

We pretty much sold out of all the stuff we were selling! Not much left to pack away.

Long Weekend "Mini-Concert"

Today, Levi was singing "Jesus Loves Me" as he went about his day. I got him to stand and sing it so you could all enjoy it too!

Then he wanted to sing "ABC's".

Of course, Nora wanted to have her turn...you can hear Levi in the background being a distraction!

Soccer!

Nora started soccer at the end of April! At first she was really shy with the coach and other kids...after the first couple games she said she didn't want to go back to soccer. And now, after a few more times of sticking with it, she's excited to go! Her game was canceled due to rain on Monday, and she was so disappointed that she didn't have soccer. In her prayer at lunch time the next day she said "God, please make the rain stop so I can go to soccer."
I'm glad we made her stick with it.

Busy, Busy!

Today at church it was the Sunday School Class Presentations. All the kids were so cute...and we took video of Nora's class. There's 3 sections of video...you'll have to turn up the volume to hear them. I'm so impressed with our shy Nora...she sang and did the actions! I remember last year's presentation...Nora was a statue up front. What a difference a year makes!
Levi's class didn't do a presentation...they usually have a video clip of the classtime...but they didn't this year.

Today was also the last day at our current church building. So, it was called "organized chaos" as the congregation lined up in front of the building for a photo after service...and then gathered back into the building for the children's presentations. We also witnessed 3 baptisms today!!

After we got out of church at 1 pm...we went for Mother's Day lunch at Olive Garden (My favorite!) with Charlotte, Stacy and Grant.
