We got our camera back!

As promised, here are a couple pictures from Easter weekend. Nora loved her "princess" dress! I was really pleased how this dress turned out, it was a fun one to make! I'm glad I have a "girly-girl" who loves dresses!

Today, Curtis and I had our Anniversary date, and left the kiddos with Charlotte for the afternoon. Our anniversary is actually on Tuesday the 24th, but we aren't able to go out then. We went for lunch at the Olive Garden, one of our favorite restaurants, and went bowling...which is our yearly tradition. It was lots of fun, and nice to have time for ourselves for a few hours!

A bit of nostalgia!

Since we don't have our camera back yet to post new pictures, I thought I'd put up a couple baby pictures of Nora, just for kicks!

Nora has now taken an interest in praying at mealtimes herself. The other day she said "Dear God...Thank you for Mommy and Daddy and Levi...and friends...and helping us. Amen!" It was so sweet!!

And...Levi is in the process right now of getting all 4 of his first molars!! Poor guy!

Wonderful weekend!

I don't have pictures to go with this post yet, because we forgot our camera in Carman this last weekend, so when we get it back I'll put up some pics. In the meantime, I'll write about our Easter weekend.
We attended the Annual Carman Lectureship, as we do every year, and we had a really great time of singing, fellowship, and great sermons! We really enjoyed our visit with mom and dad who came, too!
Nora had an Easter egg hunt and loved it!!
And, today, I bought a serger!!! I am so excited to finally have a serger... it will be sooo great!!

Eventful day!

We went to the International Dinner that the church puts on every year, and we all had a really fun time! There was lots of great food, entertainment and fellowship! And at the end of the evening every year, there's a pinata for the kids, and they get to hit it starting from the youngest kid to the oldest. Nora wanted to do it, so she got in line. She was the first one to try...I thought she'd be shy with everyone watching her, but she hit it! Just once though...when people clapped and cheered... she was done. But she watched the rest of the kids, and ran to get candy when it got broken open. She had such a great time!

However...when we got home...there was a water leak in our laundry/furnace room. A fairly constant "drip, drip, drip". So, we called our landlord...no answer. Turned a tap to hopefully stop the leak...it got worse. Now water was spraying...not good! Called a neighbor/friend...not home. Called Dad to see if knew what to do, but his suggestions weren't solving the problem. Called a plumber.... and sopped up water as fast as we could while we waited for him to get here. All I can say is...Thank goodness for plumbers!! Turns out...a pipe was broken. Definitely required immediate attention!!
