As promised, here are pictures of the cakes I made for our family get- together on Sunday. I got the idea for the garden from the internet, and mom added the idea for the stepping stones. I was really happy with how it turned out! The chocolate leaves on the heart cake melted a bit in the heat, but it still looked good. It was a lot of work, but very fun!

The pool!
The kids were so excited to get their own "swim- ming pool"! They both went to the store with Curtis to choose one... not surprised that a Dora pool was the choice! And while everyone else was enjoying the heat, I was inside decorating cakes for a family get together tomorrow. I'll post pictures of the cakes after the weekend.

The Candy Scramble!
At the church picnic, there was a candy scramble for the kids. The entire lawn was covered in treats like Kinder Surprise, bags of Twizzlers, Tootsie Rolls and many more! The little kids got a head start, to be fair. Nora's bag was so full that she could barely lift it off the ground! It was a very fun game for the kids!

We had a fantastic time at the church picnic on Saturday!! The weather was beautiful, there were games for all ages, and fireworks at the end of the evening. It is such a blessing to have such a wonderful church family!

It Finally Stopped Raining!!
It was a beautiful day to enjoy time in the backyard today! Here's my gang!!
And here's Nora in front of one of the flower beds we planted! Nora loves to water our flowers! In our other flower bed we planted seeds, but it hasn't grown yet.
