BELL_Hannah Amelia Bell passed away on Monday December 3, 2007 at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Helen Graham; and her husband, Walter Bell. Hannah is survived by her children: Graham (Wendy) Bell, Weyburn, Stewart (Kathe) Bell, Chicago, Il.USA, Rodney (Linda) Bell, Winnipeg, MB, Rhonda Bell, Regina; chosen daughter: Geraldine Bell; seven grandchildren: Charlotte Bell, Selena (Curtis) Tyndall, Stacy Bell, Kendra & Michael Bell, Corbin and Harrison Bell; two great-grandchildren, Nora and Levi Tyndall; one brother: Sam (Marion) Graham, Dartmouth, N.S., chosen sister: Alma Schiller, Weyburn; as well as many nieces and nephews. Hannah Amelia Bell was born on June 3, 1923 to Robert and Helen Graham at Penzance Saskatchewan. After receiving training as a teacher, she taught for a short time and then took a bookkeeping course. On November 7, 1953 she married Walter Bell. After working in Regina as a bookkeeper, she moved to the farm near Shamrock SK with Walter. In 1973 they moved to Weyburn where she worked at Western Christian College and then on to Fred Millekers office until her retirement. Retirement for Hannah was a full-time job, with the many organizations she shared her talents with. Hannah was a member of the Church of Christ as well as the 4H clubs, Soo Line Historical Society, Weyburn Genealogical Society, Weyburn Arts Council, The United Way, Western Christian College-Women's Service Club, S.E.S.A.C.R.S.(South East Saskatchewan Association for Culture, Recreation and Sport) and the Crocus Quilters. Hannah loved quilting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, crosswords, gardening and was always up for a game of scrabble. A visitation for Hannah will be held on Wednesday evening, December 12, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn. The Funeral Service for Hannah will be held at the Church of Christ, Weyburn, SK on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Scott Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK. For family and friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Hannah to the United Way or to Western Christian College-Women's Service Club.
