We went to the library this afternoon for Family Literacy Day. There were soooo many people there! I wish we had got a picture of the crowd of kids all sitting on the floor...it was packed nearly wall to wall. They had a magician named PJ Pajamas (he was very funny!), a Robert Munsch story, "Pigs", was read by a local radio personality (he did a great job!), and the library's new mascot was introduced. Levi loved the puppy! Nora liked it too, but was shy to go up to it, until about her fourth attempt, and then she talked to it and gave it a high five. Levi hugged it quite a few times! (I'm calling the puppy an "it" because it has no name yet...there's a contest for the best name) Then there were goodie bags and cookies and milk for the kids. It was a fun time, and beautiful weather to go out in today!
